Some great exploration in Mount Remarkable visiting Alligator Gorge for a picnic, then up via the uninspiring town of Quorn (which reminded Jack of a frontier town in Mexico) through Hawker and into Wilpena Pound.
Here we are on an early morning walk down in Alligator Gorge which we ventured into on an empty tank of petrol, and prayed that the empty tank would get us back into the nearest small town of Wilson 14km away. Coasting down a gravel road to save petrol we just made it.
